Montecampione, situated near Lake Iseo is one of the newest and most modern ski resorts in the Italian Alps. The main resort is located at 1200m, here and close by you will find a number of bars, restaurants, pizzerias, shops and a disco. We offer a high standard of accommodation, with many in house activities available. In the immediate vicinity, is the Monte Corniolo ski lift which connects the full area of Montecampione
The Skiing
Montecampione offers 40km of good variety skiing from the base resort at 1200m up to the highest point at 2000m. The Gardena lift used for beginners is located only 50 meters from the hotel, while the Monte Corniolo lift closeby connects with the whole of the Montecampione ski area which reaches as far across as Dosso Becchiere at 2000m. 4 blue runs will ensure a good ground for those learning while the 12 reds will offer a slightly stiffer challenge before attempting one of the 4 blacks on offer.
Hotel Montecampione
This large good 3 star hotel situated only 50m from the lift and in the centre of the resort at 1200m, offers basically everything on its doorstep. It is located beside the ski hire shop and ski school and has many in house apres ski possibilities. The 114 rooms which make up the hotel all have private facilities, telephone, tv and accommodate from 2-4 with larger apartment like rooms accommodating up to 6 comfortably. An excellent buffet breakfast and dinner is served each day.
Aprés-ski
Apres ski possibilities mostly take place in Hotel Montecampione due to the excellent facilities. A large indoor swimming pool is on offer free to guests as is its disco. It also has a large Piano Bar overlooking the pool, a smaller bar, theatre and a few recreational rooms, a TV room and a games room with pool and video games. For adults there is always a chance of additional exercise in the gym or a chance to relax in the sauna and relax room. A relaxed stroll around the Piazzetta and its shops, cafes and pizzerias is all on offer as are other possibilities such as toboganning & ice skating. Further apres-ski activities are available up on the slopes at Plan di Montecampione.
