The Resort of Andalo has quickly grown in stature over the last number of years due to its state of the art lift systems and its extensive 52km ski area. There is nothing purpose built about Andalo and the beauty of the resort is enhanced by the surround of the magnificent Dolomite peaks. The large village offers an abundance of shops, bars/cafeterias, pizzerias and a large sports complex.
The Skiing
The modern, first class lift system will take you easily and quickly to the area you wish to ski. Beginners however can enjoy the luxury of skiing right beside the village prior to advancing to higher, more challenging slopes on the Gondola or high speed 4-man chairlift. Intermediates can really excel with no less than 10 long reds taking you from the top of the Paganella at 2,125 meters all the way back to the village. A very testing black Olimpica will ask questions of the very best of skiers.
Hotel Pian Castello 
Situated in a perfect location only 10 minutes walk from the gondola and 700 meters from the village centre of Andalo, the Piancastello offers large spacious apartment like rooms, each with shower/wc, TV and phone. The hotel itself has a bar, TV/video room, games room, large restaurant and disco exclusively for hotel guests.
Hotel Splendid
An excellent hotel just 150m from the nearest lift and 250m from the centre of Andalo. All 57 rooms have shower/bath, wc, telephone and balcony. Each room accommodates 2-4 students. The main areas of the hotel include, bar, restaurant, recreational room, games room TV room and Taverna.
Aprés-ski
In the village, just ten minutes walk from your hotel, there are many cafés, pizzerias, music bars & discos offering a lively yet suitable après ski ambience. The main attraction however for students would be the indoor sports centre with a gym hall, ice skating rink, swimming pool and game room located beside the Hotel Garden. There is also tobogganing and sleigh ride available in the village.
