The Hoops were victorious last night as they beat Dundee UTD 1-0 at Tannadice.  Both Celtic and

 

Rangers were level on points going into their games last night so a victory for Celtic or a draw meant they would win the Cup.

 

The goal came from striker Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink in the 71st minute which set the visitors wild with anticipation. 

 

Although Celtic took time to settle in, there's no denying that they deserved to win the game and the league title.

 

Aberdeen were successful over Rangers, they beat them 2-0 at home in Pittodrie which meant their hopes of lifting the trophy were shattered.

 

Strachan became the first Parkhead boss since Jock Stein to win three successive Championships and surely they'll be aiming for the fourth next season.
