The ROI U17's suffered a terrible blow yesterday when they lost to Swiss side in Turkey.

Their hopes of progressing from the group stages were shattered. Gavin Ganning was unfortunate as he scored an own goal which left the final score 1-0 in favor of Switzerland. Manager Sean McCaffrey stated: "We played better, but didn't really create any clear-cut chances apart from Darragh Satelle at the end."
