Celtic is sending a team of highly-qualified coaches to Ireland to provide a series of five-day coaching courses. This will be the sixth time that Irish youngsters will have the opportunity to train and play with coaches from Celtic on home soil. Our coaching staff will not only be working on individual skills and tactics during the courses, but they will be sharing the ethos and spirit that make Celtic such a special club. Vital to any success in football is the quality of coaching, and under the guidance of Head of Youth at Celtic, Tommy Burns, we’ve got some of the best in the business.

  Welcome from Tommy Burns

First Team Coach and Head of Youth
“The courses conducted by Celtic coaches will cover all
aspects of play with individual improvement and fun being the objectives, and who knows, this could be the first steps to becoming the next Irish protege in the Celtic first team.”

  Selection Course

The main objective of the courses is to make a difference to young footballers across Ireland. Each course will last for five days between 10 am and 3 pm and will focus on developing better players through practising skills and techniques, speed and agility exercises, and involvement in smallsided games: all with an emphasis on fun and enjoyment under the watchful eye of the Celtic coaching staff.
