The Manchester Umbro International Cup is a truly spectacular football event and is the largest international football tournament in Great Britain, attracting up to 450 teams from 24 nations. All the matches are played at Manchester University's magnificent football park. The fields will have received a ten week maintenance programme prior to the event. |

Note: The above cost includes accommodation in Manchester University. Upgrade to hotels is available (see below). Price is based on 2 teams travelling. If you have fewer teams travelling we can organise to keep cost down by joining you up with other participating Irish teams(if available). Cost includes 1 free place with each team (1 in 16 paying).
Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 5/6 games. Teams placed first and second in the 1st round groups will progress into the main knockout competition. The teams will compete in a plate competition. All teams will play 2 games per day.
Price is based on accommodation in the University of Manchester's highly acclaimed Sports Village which housed some of the Worlds top athletes for the 2002 Commonwealth Games.
You may upgrade to following accommodation:
Britannia Country House Hotel.
This hotel is very close to the festival centre and has Gymnasium and indoor pool which are free to guests.
All rooms will accommodate 3/4 and have private shower, toilet, TV and telephone: upgrade supplement €125 Additional supplements apply for twin or single rooms - subject to availability - prices on request.
You may choose to visit Alton Towers the UK's largest theme park instead. |
