The Holland Easter Classic is regarded as Europe's leading International Easter soccer tournament. More than 200 teams from 10 countries are expected to participate. The tournament is open to all teams that are members of their FIFA affiliated national associations. The tournament will be played on 25 grass and artificial soccer pitches. The fields are spread over different locations in the medieval town of Haarlem and surrounds. Haarlem is located only 15 minutes west of Amsterdam.

Note: The above cost includes accommodation in local sports halls. Upgrades to hostels and hotels available (see below). Price is based on 2 teams travelling. If you have fewer teams travelling we can organise to keep cost down by joining you up with other participating Irish teams (if available). Alternatively if you have 1 teams travelling a supplement €40 p.p. will apply. Cost includes 1 free place with each team (1 free with 16 paying).
The tournament is open to all age groups from youths U10- Schoolboys (U18). Age groups playing with 11 a-side teams may fill out 20 players per playing day on the game-form. Under 10s play 7-aside. Players must be born on or before 1st January of their particular class.

Youth Hostels are dormitory type settings with a mix of rooms of 6 to 22 persons and located in and around Haarlem. Rental of sheets is included. Half board only. Twin & single rooms are available on a very limited scale at supplement costs (on request).Easter Classic supplement: €90
Hotels:
Tourist Class Hotels are in Haarlem and surrounds. All rooms have private shower, toilet, TV and telephone. Breakfasts and dinners are served in the hotels:

All upgrades subject to availability
First Round: All teams play in groups of 4 or 5 teams. All teams in one group play against each other once.
Second Round: Teams that qualified as number 1 or 2 in the 1st round groups will play in the 2nd round, A. All other teams from the 1st round will play in the 2nd round, B. Again all teams are placed in groups of 4 or 5 teams and play each other once.
Finals: 2nd round group winners play semi finals.
The tournament organisation reserves the right (if necessary) to make adjustments to the above mentioned tournament format. | |
